Characteristics of the device
The Neptun 2 scale integrated with the multi-directional scanner ensuring up to 360 degrees reading angle combines the scale and barcode reader functions in one case.
Both devices are connected with the common case of the scanner. It is intended for installation in the cash register cubicle top. Using the weighing scanner considerably shortens the time of weighing and reading product codes, limits the effort of the clerk who has to turn the products towards the reader and considerably shortens the time of this operation.
The scale is fitted with a legible LCD display on a rotating pole with adjustable height and rotation angle, with the possibility of bending.
The scale is made of highest quality materials covered with additionally galvanic coat that is durable and resistant to difficult operating conditions.
The device is fitted with its own power supply unit.
The Neptun 2 scale have been proven in practical use with scanners of leading producers.
Its design allows it to run with the scanner preferred by the client.
A calibrated and approved scale may be installed with the scanner already operated in the facility (or in any other place) without the necessity of its dismantling and sending to the producer of the scale.

The weighing scanner built around the Neptun 2 scale guarantees reliable operation on the continuous basis. It is dedicated for operation in cash register cubicles in trade facilities with intense product flow, such as supermarkets and hypermarkets.

Compatibility with external devices
The Neptun 2 scale is compatible with POS terminals and fiscal cash registers (e.g. ELZAB). The result of weighing may be sent by pressing a key on the scale display, in the cash register, in the POS terminal or automatically, after stabilisation of the pan, or on the continuous basis.

Neptun 2 is part of the CAT 27 scale family, known for uniquely meticulous manufacture. All CAT 27 scale meet the requirements of metrological regulations in the scope of using the scale for direct settlement of trade operations, have the WE type approval certificates and are subject to certification according to EU regulations before admission for trading.
